At 5:00 p.m. the 2019 Peninsula R&B Festival kicks off with THE HARP ATTACK!
Franco Paletta and friends, Kim Field and Cliff Ashmon join Franco, Timmer Blakely on Bass, Tom Gilberts on guitar, and Chandler Bowerman on drums for a harmonica blow off!
At 7:00 p.m. the reconfigured North Coast Blues
sails the May West barge with Bruce Smith on guitar and vocals, Justin Francoeur’s blistering guitar licks, and Cary Ray on bass and Clint Carter on drums and vocals holding down the bottom end.
9 p.m. The Ty Curtis Band.
Ty has, to me, an uncanny vocal resemblance to Jonny Lang’s gritty, soulful voice. He has played with or opened for, many great blues artists, including our Saturday headliner, Matt Schofield. Ty will be new to the Peninsula R&B Festival this year, so please come out and make him feel welcome on Friday, September 13th. YOUR lucky day! Take a peek!
