Friday

Welcome! Opening Friday night, at 5:30, the Ilwaco High School Jazz Band. A portion of our proceeds will benefit the Ilwaco High Music Program. Up at 6 p.m. the Joanne Broh Band.  Joanne has been called “Velvet Dynamite”. You will see why. Featuring Garry Meziere on guitar, Bill Foss on bass and Ed Pierce on drums.

At 7:30 p.m. North Coast Blues takes the stage. Known for blistering guitar solos, thick vocal harmonies, precise detail to arrangements and their cohesiveness on and off stage, it’s no wonder North Coast Blues is the Long Beach Peninsula’s premier blues band. Featuring Dave Jones on guitar and vocals, Bryan Foster on keys, guitar and vocals, Don King (the REAL Don King) on bass and vocals, and Clint Carter on drums, percussion and vocals. Guest performers are Jacob “Bonedaddy” Brockus on slide trombone and Ron Barnes on sax and trumpet.

At 9 p.m. by request, the Bottleneck Blues Band returns to the Peninsula R&B Festival. Winner of the 2015 Cascade Blues Associations “Best New Band” category.  Bottleneck is fronted by Noah Bell and backed by Randy Monroe on bass, Franklin Spicer on keys, and Don Worth on drums. Bottleneck plays red-hot funky blues designed to make your body MOVE!
