Opening the event on Saturday at 1pm, the fantastic Kris Deelane. Kris is a multi-instrumentalist, with drums, bass, guitar, and keys in her musical quiver of arrows. She will be backed by several members of the Bayou Boyz. Enjoy the video below. Please come out and welcome Kris, Peninsula style.
3 p.m. Speaking of the Bayou Boyz, they will rock the boat (literally). Here’s a couple minutes of snippets. Enjoy.
You never know who is likely to join Steve Kerin (keys/vocals. Steve played the PR&B Festival last year with The Rose City Kings), Dan Berkery (guitar/vocals, also of Rose City Kings fame), Brian Foxworth (drums/vocals), and David Kahl (bass/vocals). The BB tribe has grown to the point where some stellar musicians have become members of this musical family. And what a family it is!
5:30 p.m. Because Norman. Back by popular, and I mean popular demand, The Norman Sylvester Band. The peninsula’s favorite son returns with his soulful, passionate vocals and unmatched storytelling in each one of his tunes. With longtime bassist Rob Shoemaker and the many guest artists Norman employs, you will feel that awesomeness that is The Norman Sylvester Band.
8 p.m. I am beyond excited to have Matt Schofield aboard the May West stage. (For those that don’t know, the May West is an oyster dredge that has been decommissioned and is now the stage for the PR&B and other festivals and events.) I have followed Matt for a few years now, and his music never gets old. But let it speak for itself..enjoy.
